Just a little update..
It's been a while.
I last posted back in January (was that really four months ago now?) and what a depressing post it was? I can inform you that we found a new car and that the health scare has calmed considerably and is being kept an eye on and that we're still working at life financially but we're young married students so that is to be expected and embraced:)
Since January I have finished my second semester at college, that last month or so was a bit of a slog but I got through it 👍. Juan has been working on some really cool projects and we've both been called as the Boy Scout leaders for our area. (It's so hilarious me being British and Juan being South American and us teaching kids how to be a good scout and how to respect the U.S. flag?)
School broke-up on April 28th and thus claimed the start of one HUMUNGOUS SUMMER. Seriously; May, June, July and most of August. Being a student is super sweet sometimes.
So the plan. We have come to Riverton, UT for the first few weeks to spend time with the in-laws and for Juan to work, THEN on the 16th my parents come into town. Yes my British, over middle-aged, Amazing parents are coming over to stay in happy clappy Utah for nearly 3 months and I am SUPER PSYCHED!!! We're planning to head back to Ephraim soon after they arrive and my Dad is going to make an office out of my husband's office for a bit. We have made a few plans for trips together during the Summer including Wyoming and visiting my brother in Canada (to see him tie the knot). V. excited about that!
On top of this my summer plans include finding some sort of temporary summer job to earn some bunce alongside trying to achieve some personal projects that I've been dying to attempt for a long while. I love the massive Summer straight after having a jam packed semester simply because during 4-5 months of intense schooling you come up with all these creative ideas and desires to achieve things but unfortunately whilst you're studying it's really hard to give time to those things without taking time away from the things you should be focusing on. But, now that I have a set amount of time ahead of me, and a vast amount of time at that, I get the chance to be able to dedicate time and attention to those things. And I'm really excited to get on with them. What I love even more is that some of these things actually coincide with my school work for next semester so it's like I'm doing extra learning, but loving it even more so a long the way. Man, I love music. Anyway, I will describe in more detail about my projects during the course of another project; I miss blogging, and I like it. It really is for no one else but myself and if someone else enjoys reading it along the way that's a bonus! And seeing as I suddenly have a lot more open time, I figured I'd try to attempt and commit myself to making more posts. Let's see how this rolls out..
Anyway Lovelies, peace and positivity
